Things People Ask Us
Are these workshops the same as counselling or mediation?
No. Tendara workshops are strictly educational skill-building sessions. We do not provide individual counselling, mediation, or any form of regulated professional service. For those needs, we happily point you toward qualified practitioners and official bodies.
What does the Keepsake Records Session actually involve?
It is an organising and administrative session where a Tendara facilitator helps you sort documents and mementos you already hold into a warm, clearly labelled folder. We do not advise on legal documents or financial records — that falls outside our scope and we will say so clearly if it arises.
How long does each session or workshop run?
The Calm Conversations Workshop typically runs for two and a half hours, including a short rest period. The Keepsake Records Session is usually two to three hours depending on the volume of materials. Community membership workshops vary between ninety minutes and two hours each month.
Can I attend with just one family member, or do we all need to come?
You are welcome to attend on your own or with whoever feels comfortable joining. The workshops are designed to be useful whether you come alone to learn new approaches or with a partner or adult family member. There is no requirement for a minimum group size.
What language are the sessions delivered in?
Sessions are held in English. Where helpful, our facilitators can incorporate simple Thai phrases, and we welcome both Thai and international families. Please let us know your preferences when you get in touch.
Is the Community Membership a recurring charge?
The ฿11,900 membership fee covers ongoing access as described. Payment details, renewal terms, and what happens if you decide to step back from the community are all shared clearly at the time of enquiry — please reach out and we will walk you through everything.
